TERMS & CONDITIONS

Minimum order size: $450 excluding delivery. Please note HW Catering has minimum quantity order requirements with all menu items – please check menu pages on our website for details.
Booking: The customer is invited to carefully read the terms and conditions before finalising their contract with HW Catering. A booking will be held for a period of 1 month only. If the booking is not confirmed during this period, it will be cancelled. Please be advised if a booking is made beyond 6 months from the date quoted, there may be an adjustment to the quote due to possible increases to the cost of goods.
Guaranteed Quotation: Once HW Catering has a catering brief, it will forward the customer a quote based on individual requirements. This written quote will clearly outline all costs and inclusions and will remain valid for up to 14 days. Upon acceptance the quoted prices will not change.
Order Confirmation: To ensure maximum value, quality, and efficiency, HW Catering requires confirmation and acceptance of the quote prepared, 5 business days prior to the function date. Requests for changes to menu selection within 5 business days will be at the discretion of HW Catering. Large events require 10 business days notice accordingly. For large events, any variation on participant numbers will not be accepted within 10 business days of event commencement. No adjustments to the quotation will be entered.
Payment Conditions: Given HW Catering incurs most costs prior to the function date on the customer’s behalf, a 50% deposit must be paid on acceptance of the final quote (unless otherwise negotiated). Subsequently, an invoice will be raised following delivery of the order, and outstanding balances must be paid within 7 days of that invoice date.
HW Catering reserves the right to cancel your booking if payment conditions are not met.
Credit Card Processing Fee: We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please note, there is a 1.75% surcharge on all credit card purchases to cover processing costs incurred to provide this service.
Dietary Requirements: HW Catering must be provided final dietary requirements no later than 5 business days prior to the event. Requests for changes will be at the discretion of HW Catering.
Service of Alcohol: HW Catering upholds the principle of Responsible Service of Alcohol and will only provide service staff with RSA licences. HW Catering service staff reserve the right to refuse service of alcohol to anyone suspected to be under the age of 18 years, and to anyone who appears intoxicated.
Food Health & Safety: HW Catering will take no responsibility for food requested to be left at the venue. All food items are prepared in our commercial kitchen where trace elements of nuts and other allergens may be present. HW Catering takes no responsibility for any allergic reactions.
Service: Food service staff are billed at $55 per hour, and alcohol service staff are billed at $60 per hour. These rates are applicable Monday to Friday. An additional 25% loading is applied for Saturday functions. Sunday functions are subject to application and negotiated accordingly.
Delivery: Deliveries within Granville, Auburn and Parramatta each incur a $30 charge. Deliveries into the city and the eastern suburbs incur a $75 charge. All other areas will incur a delivery charge of $50. Saturday deliveries will incur a 25% surcharge. We do not deliver outside the Sydney metropolitan area.
Cancellation: If you decide to cancel or postpone your function the following guidelines apply.
· If written notification of cancellation is received more than 10 business days prior to the function date, HW Catering will refund your deposit in full.
· If written notification of cancellation is received less than 10 business days prior to the function date, HW Catering will not refund your deposit.
Covid & Weather Cancellations:
This cancellation policy applies to Covid and weather cancellations only, and replaces our standard cancellation policy as outlined above.
· If written notification is received less than 5 business days prior to the function date, you will be charged a 10% administration fee on the total value of your quote, as well as any direct food and labour costs incurred. This is to cover costs HW Catering has incurred to prepare your order.
